Golden Retriever Puppy Wakes up his Lazy Dad

It was a lazy Sunday morning, and the golden retriever puppy, Max, was feeling energized and ready to play. However, his father, Duke, was still fast asleep in his bed.

Max, determined to wake up his dad, ran into the bedroom and jumped up onto the bed. He licked Duke’s face and wagged his tail furiously, but Duke remained fast asleep.

Not wanting to give up, Max hopped off the bed and ran to the closet where he knew his dad kept his favorite tennis ball. He picked it up in his mouth and ran back to the bedroom, dropping the ball onto Duke’s chest.

Duke stirred slightly, but he still didn’t wake up. Max was undeterred, and he began to bark loudly, hoping to get his dad’s attention.

Finally, Duke’s eyes fluttered open, and he looked at Max with a groggy expression. Max barked happily and picked up the tennis ball again, dropping it onto the bed in front of Duke.

Duke finally got the message and sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Max jumped up and down excitedly, waiting for Duke to throw the ball.

The two of them spent the rest of the morning playing fetch in the backyard. Max was overjoyed that he had managed to wake up his dad and have a fun playtime together.

As the afternoon wore on, Max began to tire out. He curled up next to Duke on the couch, feeling content and happy. Duke put his arm around Max and gave him a loving pat on the head.

Max fell asleep with a smile on his face, feeling grateful for his wonderful dad and the love they shared.
